Cell phone/navigation mounting system

 

Universal mounting system which is inserted into the tiny coin storage tray to the right of the steering wheel instead of the original coin dispenser.

This universal holder for cell phones/navigation systems has been developed for the Ranult Master Type III. It is inserted into the small storage tray to the right of the steering wheel in the dashboard, instead of the original coin dispenser and fixed in place with a mounting plate and screw.

The mounting plate for the mobile phone is designed for all common cell phone mounting systems. The plate for mounting the cell phone is aligned with the driver's head. This allows the best possible readability of the display at all times without having to change the seating position.

The holder retains the small storage compartment and the coin holder offers space for up to seven coins.
The mounting arm for the cell phone is available in three versions:
a) universal mounting plate with 35x45mm, for mounting a mobile phone holder of your choice

b) round mounting plate with 58mm in diameter, with embedded MagSafe magnetic ring. For this purpose, magnetic rings (not included) can be purchased from i.e. on Amazon, with which any phone/phone case can then be used with the MagSafe.

c) Universal, round mounting plate with 58mm diameter with MagSafe induction charge controller & magnetic ring with USB C connection (incl. USB-C to USB-A adapter).
With an additional 12V USB C adapter (not included), this can then be operated directly at the 12V socket in the dashboard.
We recommend using a high-quality charging plug to minimize interference with the radio receiver and at least 40w capacity.
The charging device used varies. Currently we are happy with a Belkin induction charger. 12V Plug can be ordered on top.
    

 

Installation is very simple. Pull the original coin holder out of the recess towards you.
Vacuum out the recess!
Separate the fixing plate from the new coin holder using the Allen screw. Push the coin holder in from the front until it is almost flush with the edge of the recess at the front.
Insert the fixing plate with the 2 arms into the holes and screw it to the coin holder using the Allen screw. Tighten the screw only slightly. This only serves to fix the component.

 

For the baseplate with coin holder, we are working on adding an extension module with a CamperBalance-Pro2.0 unit.
