A question we are asked again and again, why do you have so many articles for motorhomes?

It all started innocently enough with the purchase of a Ahorn-Camp motorhome at the CMT in 2018. 
We were in the fortunate position of being able to fulfill a dream - that was actually intended for retirement age, and left the CMT with the purchase contract for a brand-new Ahorn motorhome, model Canada TE+.
We picked it up in May 2018 and that was the start of this wonderful hobby....

While cooking for the first time in the motorhome, the window behind the stove was tilted open, as it was instructed during handover, when my son ripped open the door on the opposite. The draught caused the stove cover to close, catapulting the pot - fortunately still containing cold tomato sauce - off the stove. We then had a good 2 hours of fun removing the sauce from us, from the living room and from all the furniture.
The idea for a simple stove hook was born, or in other words: Article 1 was born.
Now we took measurements, developed three model variants using CAD software and printed prototypes. After final optimizations, the hook was ready.

We then presented it in the Ahorn Facebook group for owners of Ahorn motorhomes, as everyone did with their tips, tricks and solutions.

It only took a few seconds for the first inquiries to come in, asking if we would also sell it. At the same time, other members presented their "emergency solutions" having experienced the same problem.

The idea to start selling our solution was born.

In the meantime - since Ahorn-Camp installs the stove closer/further away from the wall with every model - we have continued to design new variants. The stove hook is now available in 5mm increments from 30mm to 80mm and has already delighted more than 150 motorhome owners. 
And so it just went on and on.

Something broke off in the motorhome or a solution to a problem was missing: there was a need for something and many weak points (possibly on purpose by the manufacturer...?) in the original equipment, were rectified with specially designed and re-engineered parts. 
At some point, we also received requests from members who were looking for a special solution for their individual problem (see Selfsat MWR500 plug-in unit) and we were usually able to develop a solution, which was then presented in the facebook group and possibly meets interest of other members.

Actually, every item we offer was born out of our own need for a solution, or the need for a better solution than the original offers.

We now have around 20 different items (and growing) for motorhomes in our range, all of which are also used in our motorhome. This hobby then spilled over into other areas of the household and the hobby around Vespas and led to the invention and development of further articles.
The range is constantly growing and we welcome any ideas and suggestions to offer further solutions and regularly present our new products.
